The UK housing market is not in great shape, many couples find they have very little capital left in their property due to the economical downturn, this can cause considerable stress on top of that being caused by the seperation.

Other issues can also arise from a property sale including one or both of the parties maybe unable to obtain a mortgage in their own name based on their income and indeed may not have the deposit required to secure a mortgage.

Often this leads to the proposal of keeping a property and buying the other person out, this can be a difficult process, mediation is a great way to approach this, helping to guide the parties to a prompt and effective solution.
